Review by Michelle DeMarco

The Akademie Für Alte Musik Berlin has produced yet another stunning album with their latest release, Telemann Blavet Geminiani. The album features a collection of works by three of the most important composers of the Baroque period, performed with precision and elegance by the ensemble.

The opening track, Telemann's Concerto for Three Violins, is a masterful display of virtuosity and harmony, with each instrument weaving in and out of the intricate melodies. The ensemble's interpretation of Blavet's Sonata in G minor is equally impressive, with the rich tone of the flute blending seamlessly with the strings.

But it is perhaps the works of Geminiani that truly shine on this album. The ensemble's rendition of his Concerto Grosso in D minor is a tour de force of Baroque orchestration, with the various instruments building upon each other in a grand crescendo of sound.

Throughout the album, the Akademie Für Alte Musik Berlin demonstrates their deep understanding and appreciation of the music of this era. Their meticulous attention to detail, combined with their passion for the music, results in a truly exceptional listening experience.
