Japanese avant/new wave/darkwave duo formed by Arika Takarano and Mikiya Katakura in 1985. The band name was originally written as ߻×í¸§¯È, then changed to Ali Project when they signed to a major label in 1992. The band was originally active in the underground scene, later known for having their songs featured in anime opening and ending sequences such as Rozen maiden, Noir and Code Geass.
