Review by Andrey Volgin

Anica's album Ne Tuguj Gitaro is a delightful collection of traditional folk songs that showcases the singer's powerful voice and emotive delivery. The album features 12 tracks that are rich in melody and rhythm, with each song telling a unique story of love, loss, and longing.

The album's title track, Ne Tuguj Gitaro, is a standout, with Anica's voice soaring over the gentle strumming of the guitar. The song's lyrics speak of the pain of separation and the hope of being reunited with a loved one. Anica's delivery is heartfelt and sincere, making the listener feel every word.

Another standout track is Vetrovi Me Nose, a lively and upbeat song that showcases Anica's versatility as a singer. Her voice is playful and flirtatious as she sings of the wind carrying her away to new adventures.

About Anica

In 1959 she moved to Belgrade with her second husband and started singing in Serbian, however after the move her career started to slow down gradually and by the end of 1960's she was practically out of the eye of the general public. After the death of her second husband in 1981, she moved back to Zagreb where she sang in the until her retirement.
