Ataraxia's live album, "Os Cavaleiros Do Templo Live In Portugal MCMXCVIII," is a masterpiece of gothic, neoclassical music. The album captures the band's performance in Portugal in 1998, and the recording quality is excellent. The album features several tracks from Ataraxia's earlier albums, including "La Nouva Margarita" and "Canzona," as well as some new tracks.
The vocals of Francesca Nicoli are hauntingly beautiful, and the instrumentation is superb. The band's use of traditional instruments, such as the harp, flute, and violin, gives the music a unique and otherworldly quality. The album's standout track is "Aigues Mortes," a haunting ballad that showcases Nicoli's vocal range.

About Ataraxia
Ataraxia is an Italian neoclassical band who combine modern technology with archaic instrumentation over various media. They describe their music as a cross "between sacred and profane, ethereal and neo-classical, contemporary and early music". They make researches into the European legends crossing the Greek and Latin myths. Their lyrics are written in many ancient and contemporary languages. Many of their performances take place in locations the band believes to possess specific spiritual qualities. Since the beginning of the group in the late 1980s, they have released more than 20 original LPs.
