David Ragsdale's album, David Goliath, is a triumph of musicianship and storytelling. Each track showcases Ragsdale's impressive skills on the violin, as well as his gift for crafting memorable melodies and lyrics.
From the opening notes of "The Call," listeners are drawn into Ragsdale's world, where he weaves tales of triumph and struggle, love and loss. The album's title track, "David Goliath," is a standout, with its soaring chorus and powerful message of standing up to oppression and injustice.
Throughout the album, Ragsdale's violin takes center stage, with each track featuring intricate and emotive solos that add depth and texture to the songs. His vocals are equally impressive, ranging from tender and vulnerable on ballads like "The Last Time" to fierce and defiant on tracks like "Rise Up."
