Disrupt - Axis Of Evil Terrorizing The Globe One Country At A Time

Review by Ярослав Нечаєв

Disrupt's album, Axis Of Evil Terrorizing The Globe One Country At A Time, is a powerful and unapologetic statement against the injustices of war and imperialism. From the opening track, "Bombing the Vatican," to the closing "Death Squad," the band delivers a barrage of punk-infused hardcore that is both musically intense and politically charged.

The album's title track, "Axis Of Evil," is a scathing critique of the Bush administration's foreign policy, with lyrics that denounce the war in Iraq and call for resistance against the military-industrial complex. Meanwhile, "Nazi Die" takes aim at fascism and white supremacy, with lyrics that urge listeners to "smash the Nazi scum" and "fight for freedom and equality."

Throughout the album, Disrupt's musicianship is top-notch, with blistering guitar riffs, thunderous basslines, and frenzied drumming that create a wall of sound that is both chaotic and cohesive.
