Embalming Theatre's album Exquisite Cadaveric Hormon Cocktails is a must-have for fans of extreme music. The Swiss band has created a unique blend of grindcore, death metal, and noise that is both punishing and captivating. The album's 22 tracks are short, intense bursts of aggression that will leave listeners reeling. From the opening track "Cadaveric Hormon Cocktail" to the closing track "Nekrophilic Orgy in the Morgue," Embalming Theatre delivers a non-stop barrage of blast beats, guttural vocals, and dissonant guitar riffs.
Despite the unrelenting brutality of the music, there is a sense of playfulness and creativity that runs throughout the album. The band's use of samples from horror movies and other sources adds an extra layer of atmosphere to the already chaotic sound. Tracks like "Spasmo Paralytic Dreams" and "Theater of Operations" showcase the band's ability to create memorable hooks amidst the chaos.
