Review by Eduarda Aguiar

The album "Preussisches Trio" by ErnstLudwig Petrowsky, Alexander von Schlippenbach, and Achim Trampenau is a masterpiece of modern jazz. The trio exhibits an excellent level of musicianship and a deep understanding of the genre.

Petrowsky's saxophone playing is expressive, and his improvisations are full of emotion. Schlippenbach's piano playing is equally impressive, and his solos are full of intricate and complex chords. Trampenau's drumming is tight and precise, providing the perfect rhythm for the other two musicians.

The album features a mix of original compositions and classic jazz standards. The trio's arrangements of these standards are fresh and exciting, showcasing their unique sound and style.
