Disco trio formed in 1978, San Francisco. Recorded two albums. , an east coast musician who had his first taste of popularity as part of the 1968 collective known as the , was the brains behind the sound. The seminal disco figures -dj's and later owners of , and helped them prociding the outlet for 's first outing. Their first release was the cover "Standing In The Shadows Of Love". "Beat Of The Night" was their seminal disco single featuring the synthesizer styles of that would be the leading proponents of the early 80's hi-NRG disco sound. By 1979 was in financial trouble and with the impending death of disco there were no further Fever releases. went on to producer 's "Call Me" and in the 1990's-2000's arranging and producing , and among others. dropped out of sight only to resurface in the new millennium in the world music market. resurfaced in the 1990's mostly as a producer of mixed-disco cd's and joined with old friend Wadlington on the project.
