Breaks my heart hearing this ?
What can one say superp!!!
This is absolutely the best version of this song I've ever heard!!
Al Martino rendition's no slouch either.
Slightly slower tempo which I liked
But to each his own
To each his own

But to each his own

Forever....
Love his voice and I really love this song. I remember going to cemetery to bury my father and my brother home form the Navy, driving and this came on. never heard it before. I was sitting in the back seat with my best friend, I began to cry when this song came on and he turned and touched my cheek. They , my best friend and brother are now gone as well, so it really makes me cry , but I just love it. Not the usual love song memory but it is my first memory of this. Thank You so much for putting it on Utube.
This song certainly brings back memories...a special memory. At our wedding reception, my husband & I danced to this song as our 'first dance'. There are many renditions, but Frankie Laine's version is the best. You may be wondering...my marriage didn't last beyond 5 years. That's life. I'm happy...living a nice life with no regrets.
Not my sort of music but I'm a care assistant and a gentleman I care for always has me putting this song on and ive grown quite addicted to listening to it. His voice is very good ?? x

Thank you frankie. Beautiful.......
A great Singer!!! Thanks For The Post!!! I Have this record in my Record ( 45 R.P.M.)Collection. Dec. 5 , 2019.
I love Frankie singing this song, his voice is so distinctive. My favourite of his is Laura (Tell Me What He's Got) & also You Gave Me A Mountain.
Frankie gave this beautiful song a new lease on life. Quite different from the way the Ink Spots did it. I love both versions. A good song deserves more than one interpretation.
Nice Song!!! talented Singer!!!! Thanks for posting!!! Oct. 29 , 2019.
