About George Lafleche

Georges (Edouard) La Fleche (b La Flèche). Singer, composer, b Winnipeg 27 Jan 1936. La Fleche began his career in St Boniface, Man (radio), and Montreal (radio and TV), made his CBC TV debut (Toronto 1957) on 'Club O'Connor' and starred in the 1960s on CBC radio and TV shows from Winnipeg (eg, 'Music Break' 1960), Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver and on CTV in Toronto ('Musical Showcase'). Noted for his bilingual abilities, he was the brother of Gisèle MacKenzie.
