Review by Francesco Cruciani

Jeff Beck's album, Wild Thing, is a guitar lover's dream come true. Released in 1985, the album features Beck's signature style of virtuosic playing and experimental soundscapes. From the opening track "Wild Thing" to the closing number "The Train Kept A-Rollin'," the album is a showcase of Beck's incredible talent and versatility.

Beck's guitar playing is the star of the show, as he effortlessly switches between genres and styles. He seamlessly blends rock, blues, jazz, and funk, creating a sound that is uniquely his own. The album is also notable for Beck's collaborations with other musicians, including Rod Stewart, Jimmy Page, and Simon Phillips.

The production on Wild Thing is top-notch, with each instrument and sound perfectly balanced. The album is a testament to Beck's skill as a musician and his ability to push the boundaries of what is possible with a guitar.

I remember when my local radio in Los Angeles, CA(KLOS 95.5) debut this song at approximately 2:00pm. I was on my way to a jam session, and at the end of the song they said it was Jeff Beck... I couldn't believe it. It was then that I noticed that Jeffs' playing was progressing into another new genre of guitar playing that would be absolutely impossible to duplicate!
