Review by Sheila Gregory

Symphonie Nr 94 by Joseph Haydn is a masterpiece that showcases the composer's exceptional talent and skill. The album features a collection of four movements, each of which is a testament to Haydn's mastery of the symphonic form.

The first movement, Adagio - Vivace assai, is a beautiful and contemplative piece that sets the tone for the rest of the symphony. The second movement, Andante, is a delightful and graceful melody that is both soothing and uplifting. The third movement, Menuetto, is a playful and energetic piece that showcases Haydn's wit and humor. The final movement, Allegro di molto, is a rousing and triumphant piece that leaves the listener feeling exhilarated.

The album is beautifully recorded, with excellent sound quality that captures the nuances and subtleties of Haydn's music. The performances by the orchestra are outstanding, with each musician bringing their own unique interpretation to the music.

About Joseph Haydn

Born: 1732-03-31 (Rohrau, Austria) Born 31 march or 1st April, 1732. Died: 1809-09-05 (Vienna, Austria). Franz Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer of the Classical period. He brings the "sonata form" to a very high degree of improvement. His symphonies and his string quartets (forms of which he is considered "the father") have become highly inspirational style models. Haydn made a fundamental contribution to the development of chamber music; thanks to the numerous quartets, trios for piano, for strings and also with the unusual trios for baryton, viola and cello.
