Review by Britte de Haan

Live In Cologne 1975 is a sensational album that showcases the musical prowess of the legendary electronic music pioneers, Kraftwerk. The album captures the band's live performance in Cologne in 1975, and it is a testament to the group's ability to create a mesmerizing sonic experience.

The album features some of Kraftwerk's most iconic tracks, including "Autobahn," "Radioactivity," and "Trans-Europe Express." These tracks are presented in their rawest form, with the band's live performance adding a layer of intensity and energy that is absent from their studio recordings.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "KlingKlang," which is a showcase of Kraftwerk's ability to create complex, layered soundscapes. The track builds slowly, with each layer adding a new dimension to the music, creating a hypnotic effect that is both captivating and otherworldly.

Kraftwerk’s Autobahn is the first electronic song in my opinion. It wasn’t some shit novelty like Popcorn and it wasn’t classical music recreated on a Minimoog. It was a full length 22 minute electronic track.
