Led Zeppelin's Live In Zurich album is a must-have for any fan of the legendary rock band. Recorded during their 1980 tour, the album captures the electrifying energy and raw power that made Led Zeppelin one of the greatest live acts of all time.

From the opening track, "Train Kept A-Rollin'," to the epic finale of "Stairway to Heaven," the band delivers a masterful performance that showcases their incredible musicianship and showmanship. Jimmy Page's blistering guitar solos, Robert Plant's soaring vocals, John Paul Jones' dynamic basslines, and John Bonham's thunderous drumming all come together to create a truly unforgettable experience.

The album includes some of Led Zeppelin's biggest hits, including "Black Dog," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Rock and Roll," as well as lesser-known gems like "In The Evening" and "Kashmir." Each song is performed with passion and precision, making Live In Zurich a true testament to the band's talent and legacy.

When I heard on the radio the news that Bonzo had passed I sat on a chair in the dining room of the family home & had a bit of a cry. Oh I was so looking forward to seeing LZ in Australia later on in that world tour. I was only aged 12 for LZ's one & only tour DownUnder in 1972. Oh what memories of their albums, movies & bootleg concerts. This recording is one to saviour given the impending tragic ending. RIP JHB.

I really hope jimmy and the band release more live Zep stuff eventually. They could easily release some of this stuff mastered and mixed a little with audience recordings for parts. Come onnnn even if they don’t have the masters I bet jimmy has a lot of stuff in his vault.

Trampled !!!

It seems poignant that at the very start of their career, and at the very end that they would play Train Kept A Rolling as their first song!

Hard to imagine that just few short months later Bonzo would be gone. They sound awesome here!

Loved that confusion during Kashmir ---

Weird that this would be one of their final shows before Robert Plant went insane (& stayed that way—blaming Zeppelin for Bonham buying the farm)

Bonzo on ALaStand is just flying .... I think Jimmy is just watching Bonzo and forgetting to play ...

Whoa! WTF happened on Kashmir here? Did anyone else notice the transition fugue where Robert sings "I've been Crying...Slowly Dying." Did they mess up and skip that part and go directly to the "All I see turns to brown..." or is this a blip in the recording? That's really whacked!!!

Bonham only had about 2000 hours left to live at this time. Sad.
And bloody hell, Jimmy's playing fell apart in 1975. Never came back.

They sound more dangerous indoors.

Still think this is a soundtrack to a pro shot video. ..after repeated listens, even to the original Zurich CD bootleg with the WWI guy in the helmet on the cover. It sounds exactly like Houston '77 and Seattle '77, and Earls Court. Audio from a videotape. Change my mind.

I was there. Just realized that they didn't play *Whole Lotta Love*
