It’s a shame when this song was climbing buildboard it got to #58 but I think her management team should of been stronger as she was on the popular country talk shows at the time. It’s a shame as she is a great song writer and singer. Her voice is 1000 % way better than Shania’s. Still huge fan of Lisa ❤️from??

She is a number of years younger than Shania Twain, but she had hits before ST collaborated w/Mutt Lange.

Nashville is too picky on 1. women and 2. Canadians . Lisa Brokop fit both categories.

If Mutt Lange did not collaborate, Shania Twain would likely not have been as big, but may be as big as her tour partner Toby Keith.

Lisa Brokop is a Canadian country and pop singer who got her big break at age 18 and she's been around ever since. Clearly she's one of the best Canadian country music singers of all time. She could have been as big as Shania Twain any day of the week if her sponsors had pushed a little harder to get her there.
