Review by Brian Castellani

Lowell Fulsom's album "I've Got The Blues" is an absolute masterpiece that showcases his immense talent as a blues musician. The album consists of ten tracks, each of which is a testament to Fulsom's ability to convey raw emotion through his music.

From the opening track "Reconsider Baby" to the closing number "Blues Rhumba", Fulsom's performance is nothing short of exceptional. His soulful voice and intricate guitar work are perfectly complemented by the backing band, which consists of some of the finest musicians in the genre.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Tramp", which features a catchy riff and Fulsom's signature vocals. The song has become a classic in the blues canon and is a testament to Fulsom's ability to write memorable songs.

Another highlight of the album is "Mother-In-Law Blues", which showcases Fulsom's ability to tell a story through his music. The song is a humorous take on the trials and tribulations of having a mother-in-law and is sure to put a smile on the listener's face.

Earl Brown was alto sax on most of Lowell Fulson's songs during the 1950 timeframe. Also, on Everyday I Have the Blues and others.
