Review by David Hadley

Lydia Scotty's album, Vol 1, is a refreshing blend of country and folk music. The album features 10 tracks that showcase Scotty's remarkable vocals and songwriting skills. The opening track, "Heartbreak Highway," is a catchy tune that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The lyrics are relatable and heartfelt, and the instrumentation is well-balanced.

The album's second track, "Burning Bridges," is a standout with its upbeat tempo and memorable chorus. Scotty's vocals are powerful, and the harmonies are well-executed. The album's title track, "Vol 1," is a slower, more introspective song that showcases Scotty's ability to convey emotion through her music.

Other standout tracks include "Love Like Ours," a romantic ballad that showcases Scotty's softer side, and "Wings," a song about finding strength in difficult times. The album's closing track, "Stronger Than You Know," is a powerful anthem about overcoming adversity and finding inner strength.
