Review by Abdullah Ebraheem

Montanas' album "Ciao Baby" is a delightful mix of classic rock and country tunes that will transport listeners to a simpler time. From the opening track "Ciao Baby" to the closing number "Ride the Wind," the band showcases their versatility and musical prowess.

The album's standout tracks include "Lonely Nights," a heartfelt ballad that showcases the band's emotive vocals, and "Heartbreak City," a catchy and upbeat tune that will have listeners tapping their feet. The album's production is also noteworthy, with crisp and clear instrumentation that allows each instrument to shine.

Lynn Randell smashes this song. The english version is very mellow and nice.
amrutahaldankar77
is this the song Scott English wrote?

A good effort, but Lynne Randell's version is still the definitive one.

Its been 50years now since i was involved with the boys as their first manager agent.I remember the days clearly and especially the studio gig with the Moody Blues.

I remember the Woolpack days and the many working mens club gigs. The rest is history
Lost touch but met Bill Hayward on my 60th at his abode and enjoyed the company of Bill & Carol and Roger Allen immensely.
I now live in Adelaide Australia and often wonder how the boys in the band are doing.

I can be contacted at [email protected] M cGrath

What a group, how they and Herbies People never made it to the very top is one of life's many mysteries. Thank you for this reminder of my youth around Wolves and Bilston.

Agrees with john, fabulous in their day and great to hear them again.

The main theme is almost indistinguishable from "You've Got Your Troubles" by the Fortunes. The middle part is similar to "Always Something There To Remind Me". However, despite this, I like this number very much and remember it, as I started full time employment in 1967.

I agree about 'The Fortunes" sound to this track...maybe because both groups were produced by Tony Hatch

I've never heard THIS version, only Lynne Randell and the Toys. The Montanas makes it sound like a Fortunes song.
