About Muluken Melesse

Ethiopian singer and drummer. Born: 1954 in Gojjam, Ethiopia, Africa. Died: 2019 in Washington, D.C. USA (aged 65). Muluken Melesse was born in Northern Ethiopia province of Gojjam. After traveling with his uncle at the age of six, he settled in Addis Ababa. He was just 12 when he began his singing career in 1966. After more than 25 years of his music career, Muluken became a born-again Christian.
