The First Born Is Dead, the second studio album by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, is a dark and brooding masterpiece that showcases the band's unique blend of blues, rock, and gothic sensibilities.

The album's standout track, "The Carny," is a chilling tale of a carnival worker who preys on vulnerable women, set to a haunting melody that builds to a frenzied climax. Other highlights include the menacing "Say Goodbye to the Little Girl Tree" and the atmospheric "Wanted Man."

Saw Nick Cave in Rome around 2009. They were a bit late coming on stage. I really had to take a piss from the beers. So I went to the toilets thinking "Even if they start the set, I won't miss the best". Came back while they were mid way through "Tupelo" with mustache-Cave sperging in front of a mega screen showing black and white clouds. Most expensive piss I've ever took.

Blackestctackah, I will be diplomatic here and explain exactly why Nick Cave doesn't accept awards from MTV or piddly prickish accusations from minimums as you are. My brother Adam died defending Into My Arms and you will leave these rooms until you learn true utter respect.
