Nopes - Never Heard Of It

Nopes' latest album, Never Heard Of It, is a high-energy, punk-infused ride that will leave listeners breathless. The Sacramento-based band has crafted a collection of songs that are both catchy and chaotic, with each track offering something new and exciting.
From the opening chords of "Djinn Kid," it's clear that Nopes means business. The song is a frenzied blast of guitars and drums, with singer Alex Petralia's vocals soaring over the top. The energy doesn't let up throughout the album, with tracks like "Underneath the Leather" and "Caffeine Dreams" packing a punch with their driving rhythms and catchy hooks.
Despite the intensity of the music, there's a sense of fun and playfulness that runs throughout Never Heard Of It. The band clearly loves what they do, and that enthusiasm is infectious. Even on the more somber tracks, like "The Margin," there's a sense of hope and optimism that shines through.
