Review by Lilian Britto

Peruvia, the latest album from Planets, is a captivating musical journey that takes the listener on a tour of Peru's rich cultural heritage. The band's unique blend of traditional Andean instrumentation, modern electronic beats, and haunting vocals creates a sound that is both contemporary and rooted in tradition.

The album opens with the track "Inti Raymi," a vibrant and energetic tribute to the Incan sun god. The use of the charango, a small Andean stringed instrument, adds a touch of authenticity to the track. "Chicha" is another standout track, with its infectious beat and catchy melody that will have listeners tapping their feet.

One of the album's highlights is "Cusco," a hauntingly beautiful track that captures the essence of the ancient Incan city. The use of the pan flute and the quena, another Andean wind instrument, adds a mystical quality to the song that is simply mesmerizing.
