Inspirational guitar solo, Jerry McCord thank you. I've imitated it countless hours
Zero thumbs down!
I played at the Civic Center in brownsville on the same bill as the playboys,I played with the spades, when I heard the playboys of edinburgh I actually thought they sounded like the beatles, everybody was amazed I still have their records
Beautiful presentation. Never heard this but it is a great reprise rocker
The music the POE was rebelling against in late 1969-early 1970 would sound great compared to the slop that's out now.
what the hell happened to us.
Wow, this is so cool! Jerry is my cousin and i grew up listening to the two 45's i still have. Ya, I think i need to get his number and reconnect. Thanks
I used to love to go to dances where they played in the Edinburg and McAllen, Texas area back in the late 60s. James and Michael Williams were absolutely fantastic singers. Donny Faires was a knockout on drums, and I never heard a more consistently excellent guitar player in live performances than Jerry McCord. He was equally great later in the band, Uncle Bruce, with J.B. Braden, Mike Campbell and Art Baca. Those were the days.
I LOV E this song, still have the 45 but it's seen better days. Thanks for the upload!
cant spell this morning....GLAD
