Review by alejandro angarita

Sawbuck's self-titled album is a remarkable debut that showcases the band's unique blend of folk, rock, and country. The album is an impressive collection of eleven tracks that are filled with honest and heartfelt lyrics, soulful harmonies, and impeccable musicianship.

From the opening track "Old Habits" to the closing song "Gone," Sawbuck displays a remarkable ability to weave together different genres seamlessly. The band's captivating sound is anchored by the powerful vocals of lead singer, Sarah Wood, and the impressive guitar work of Matt Jenkins.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Hold On," which features hauntingly beautiful harmonies and a memorable chorus that will stay with listeners long after the song has ended. "Wish I Could" is another highlight, with its upbeat tempo and catchy melody that will have listeners tapping their feet and singing along.

Great Song. Grew up in Reno. Moved to Vegas a few years back. Miss Reno. The slide show brought some memories back of old Reno. We used to cruise Virginia Street on Fri & Sat. Those were the days . Man !!!!!!!!

Been a fan of Ronnie since 4th grade, God rest his soul. I get that rock, rhythm and blues had to have a beginning, but this is just lame.

Think I still have this album

Actually, Sawbuck had already disbanded by the time Ronnie called Chuck to join Edgar Winter. Chuck was in another band with Starr and myself when the call came.

Unforgettable Experience attended Sawbuck show at The Fillmore West the final days. Sawbuck played the last Tuesday (normally audition night), this was first exposure to Ronnie Montrose and remember leaving thinking this guy can play and with fire and emotion.
