Review by Charles Gotcher

Seehunde's self-titled album is a mesmerizing collection of dreamy, atmospheric tracks that transport the listener to a world of ethereal beauty. The Berlin-based duo, consisting of Marie Schreer and Philipp Koller, have created a unique sound that blends ambient electronica, post-rock, and shoegaze.

The album opens with "Uferlos," a haunting instrumental that sets the mood for the rest of the record. The track features a delicate piano melody, atmospheric synths, and a steady beat that gradually builds in intensity. The album's lead single, "Rückenwind," is a standout track that showcases Schreer's ethereal vocals and Koller's production skills.

Other highlights include "Zwischenzeit," a slow-burning track that features a beautiful guitar melody, and "Strömung," a hypnotic instrumental that builds to a mesmerizing climax. The album closes with "Fernweh," a beautiful ballad that features Schreer's vocals accompanied by a simple piano melody.
