About Village People

High camp disco troupe created by producer in Greenwich Village, New York - hence the name. The original line-up comprised of lead singer, Victor Willis (cop/patrolman), David "Scar" Hodo (construction worker), Felipe Rose (Indian), Randy Jones (cowboy), Glenn Hughes (leather man), Alex Briley (the GI). Willis was replaced by Ray Simpson at the end of 1979 and Jones, replaced by Jeff Olson with added member, Mark Lee in the 80's.

This is identical to the album version, except someone has literally sped it up then pitchchanged it down again (too far). Listen carefully, it is the exact same source recording. Photo is of the French single, I'm not sure this mythical "ultra-rare Czechoslovakian pressing" exists :)
