Wart - Wart

Review by Anthony Gentry

Wart's self-titled album, "Wart," is a raw and powerful display of punk rock energy. The band's sound is characterized by its aggressive guitar riffs, driving percussion, and catchy, anthemic choruses.

From the opening track, "Rat Race," to the closing number, "No Hope," the album is a non-stop barrage of punk rock fury. The lyrics are politically charged and socially conscious, touching on issues such as inequality, corruption, and the struggle for survival in a world that seems to be falling apart.

The standout tracks on the album include "Fight the Power," "Anarchy in the Streets," and "Revolution Now." These songs showcase Wart's ability to write catchy, sing-along choruses that will get stuck in your head for days.

This band sounds so much like the Jesus and Mary Chain, and they were around at the same time.
