Wasted Shirt - Fungus II

Wasted Shirt's second album, Fungus II, is a wild and explosive ride through experimental rock and punk. The collaboration between Ty Segall and Brian Chippendale is a match made in musical heaven, with Segall's raw guitar riffs and Chippendale's frenzied drumming creating a chaotic and hypnotic sound.
The album is filled with high-energy tracks that demand attention, such as the opening song "All is Lost" and the frantic "Four Strangers Enter the Cement at Dusk". However, there are also moments of introspection and experimentation, such as the ambient interlude "Harsho".
Throughout the album, the lyrics are often abstract and surreal, adding to the otherworldly feel of the music. The production is intentionally rough around the edges, giving the album a raw and authentic feel.
