Dödläge's self-titled album is a force to be reckoned with. The Swedish crust punk band's debut release is a chaotic, relentless assault on the senses. From start to finish, Dödläge unleashes a barrage of distorted guitars, thunderous drums, and guttural vocals.

The album's opening track, "Dödläge," sets the tone for what's to come. The song begins with a slow, ominous riff before exploding into a frenzied punk assault. The rest of the album follows suit, with tracks like "Enkelriktat Krig" and "Välfärdens Sista Suck" delivering fast-paced, politically charged punk anthems.

Despite its unrelenting aggression, Dödläge manages to inject moments of melody and atmosphere into their music. "Svart Makt" features a haunting, atmospheric intro before launching into a fiery punk assault. Similarly, "Självdestruktivitetens Emissarie" features a slower, more contemplative pace before building to a cathartic climax.
