Japan’s 1977 demo album Keep On Up is a remarkable collection of tunes that showcases the band's early sound. The album takes listeners on an intriguing musical journey that blends elements of punk rock and new wave with a hint of funk.
The opening track, "Suburban Berlin," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its driving rhythm and catchy guitar riffs. The band's lead vocalist, David Sylvian, delivers an impressive performance, displaying his range and control throughout the album.

Notes
- A 5½" Flexi-Disc manufactured in Russia by some obscure plant in the 90's in Limited Quantities. These were manufactured in different colours; this edition being a Yellow Acetate and single-sided; there is no B-side.
- The song is 'Keep on up' and has been taken from the recording 'The 1977 Demos'. The sound of the recording is quite average and mono.
- The Yellow acetate comes with a simple greyscale cover which has been printed on plain paper. This is a Collectors' item for Completists who must have literally everything 'JAPAN'; this is NOT a record for digital sound lovers or glossy covers admirers.
