Anybody knows, What’s that underrated yet poignant slow tempo ballad by The Earls starting like ‘For your Love I can do anything …’ been searching for it for a while already.

One of the guys in the group worked at Commercial Corrugated on Kent Ave. with my Dad. He gave him promo records of the group which as a 6 year old I listened to often ….. great then and now

The best part of any doo-wop tune is when the group changes keys...these guys do it TWICE!!!!
What a shame it's only 1:58

I'm looking for my baby
Oh where, oh where can she be?
Someone her my plea
Send her back to me

My baby is gonna left me
All alone and blue
She's got someone new
Tell me what I do

Each night I pray
For all above
To send me back
For whom that I love

If she comes, back come to me
I love her, I love her...
Yes, sir!

I'm looking for my baby
Oh where can she be?
Darling hear my plea
Send her back to me

I'm looking for my baby
Where, oh where can she be?
Someone hear my plea
Send her back to me

The 70s & 80s punk and thrash groups all borrowed this tempo from fast trax like this one.

I vividly remember hangin' out in Brooklyn with my vocal group buddies in 1961 trying to figure out the syllables of the background harmony to this song. We finally did. I looked away, and when I turned around it was 57 years later.

I stand corrected, Manny, you are correct -- it was a different doo wop song our group covered.
