I came to the US in 56 and shortly after I heard this song in German, and I liked it right away. For a long time they played on the radio then new ones came on. I never forgot this song.Glad I found it on UTUBE.

It's a lovely song. The lyrics are sad, but hopeful. This was my favorite song in 1959, and I'm happy to be able to listen to it from time to time.

This is *NOT* the authentic 1959 recording of this song. It's a mid-1960s or even mid-1970s rerecording, not even done by Polydor, for which label Robic recorded the song. This is a *FAKE* version, done more than 95% likely by an *imposter,* pretending to be Ivo Robic. And as a *FAKE* it deserves *NOTHING BUT THE UTMOST CONTEMPT!*
