Review by Travis Perkins

The album Greystoke The Legend Of Tarzan Lord Of Apes by John Scott And The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is a stunning musical masterpiece that captures the essence of the classic tale. The orchestra's performance is breathtaking and perfectly complements the epic story of Tarzan's journey from the jungle to civilization.

Each track on the album is a work of art, with the orchestra's powerful strings, horns, and percussion creating a rich and immersive soundscape that transports listeners to the heart of the African jungle. The album's standout tracks include "Greystoke," "The Family," and "Jane Porter," which are all masterfully composed and executed.

John Scott is right up there with the rest of them. His scores never disappoint! And, the other person was right this is the definitive Tarzan film! So many thanks for posting this!

The most PERFECT version of Tarzan EVER! A cross between Chariots of Fire and Lawernce of Arabia. A beautiful blend of epic filmmaking and score. 5 STARS!

If you ask me, the definitive Tarzan film. This is one I grew up with and feel that it's the perfect spiritual prequel to the first two "good" Sy Weintraub pictures (i.e., the reason we don't see Jane in those). From this score to the storytelling, it stands head-and-shoulders above most other versions. Also, there's the fact he's articulate and becomes well-educated as in the novels with him simply choosing to return to the wild as it's all he knows and can handle best. A favorite for all of those reasons.
