Junichi Kawauchi - Sweet

Review by Charlotte Cole

Junichi Kawauchi's album "Sweet" is a delightful blend of jazz, funk, and soul. The album features Kawauchi's masterful saxophone playing, which is complemented by the talented musicians who accompany him.

The opening track "Sweet" sets the tone for the rest of the album with its smooth jazz sound and catchy melody. The upbeat "Funk Train" is a standout track that showcases Kawauchi's impressive saxophone skills. The album also includes a few slower, more introspective tracks such as "Rainy Day" and "Love Song," which provide a nice contrast to the more upbeat tracks.

The musicianship on this album is top-notch, with each instrument adding something unique and special to the overall sound. The production is also excellent, with a clear and crisp sound that allows each instrument to shine.
