Review by Jennifer Doohan

Olympic Smiles' latest album, "Somethings Pushing Me," has been receiving rave reviews from music critics and fans alike. The band's unique blend of indie rock and dream pop is on full display on this record, showcasing their musical prowess and songwriting skills.

The album's opening track, "Fading," sets the tone for the rest of the record with its atmospheric guitar riffs and haunting vocals. This is followed by "Siren Song," a catchy and upbeat track that will have listeners tapping their feet and singing along.

Other standout tracks on the album include "Diamonds," a slow-burning ballad that builds to an epic crescendo, and "Echoes," a dreamy and introspective track that showcases the band's more experimental side.

The next generation of Olympic Smiles, founded in LA, now known as The Veil, is here free. Hope you enjoy. Terence Pearce (AKA Wilde), bass player and co-writer with Olympic Smiles. Enjoy for free with my blessing, on SoundCloud. Thanks to the loyal fans who remember that early single, sincerely. Terence.

Hey FarGo. What a great collection you’ve compiled here. You might like a few of the tracks I have posted on SoundCloud (17 altogether I think) which I did since Olympic Smiles, with the band The Veil which I co-founded in America; ‘Anastasia’, ‘Old Mrs. Philpot’ & ‘So Glad’ for example may be in the genre you like... This is Terence Pearce (AKA Wilde) who co-wrote the song and played bass on it. Thank you for posting the song. It got a lot of airplay initially in the U.K. but then the record label decided to go out of business and stopped promoting, so that the song never broke as it should have. Nice to hear it here. The band changed names after this from Olympic Smiles to High Frontier and recorded with part of German Polygram on a deal and they released ‘Made in Heaven’ on an EP there, and on a sampler album with Elton John and other artists.
