The Vyllies - Lilith

Review by Miguel González Graniel

Vyllies' album "Lilith" is a mesmerizing blend of post-punk, gothic rock, and new wave sounds. The German band has crafted a haunting and atmospheric collection of songs that evoke a sense of mystery and darkness.

The album's opening track, "Purification", sets the tone with its brooding bassline, eerie synths, and the haunting vocals of frontwoman Tanja Steneberg. The band's use of atmospheric soundscapes and haunting melodies continues throughout the album, with highlights including "The Painted Veil" and "Dreams of Gold".

Vyllies' musicianship is also impressive, with intricate guitar work and driving rhythms that add to the album's intensity. The band's use of experimental sound effects and electronic elements give the album a modern edge while still staying true to its post-punk roots.
