Review by Richard Platt

The album by Ambroise Thomas and Offenbach is a delightful collection of classical music that is sure to please any fan of the genre. The album features some of the most well-known works from these two composers, including Offenbach's "Orpheus in the Underworld" and Thomas's "Mignon."

The album's production is top-notch, with each piece expertly performed by the orchestra and soloists. The sound quality is clear and crisp, allowing the listener to fully appreciate the intricate melodies and harmonies of each composition.

One standout track on the album is Offenbach's "Barcarolle" from "The Tales of Hoffmann," which features a hauntingly beautiful melody played by the orchestra's strings. Another highlight is Thomas's "Gavotte" from "Mignon," which showcases the composer's skill at crafting lively and engaging dance music.
